What are your begrudging buys? i.e products that are pricier than you would like but no cheaper alternatives work as well?

Sebamed clear face care gel isn’t as expensive as some others here, but since it’s a gel moisturiser I go through it quickly.
it’s the only thing that works consistently.
I hate spending $20 for a moisturiser that doesn’t last a month

What's a petty reason that makes you avoid a brand or product?

I’m not against expensive products - there’s so many that cannot be replaced and deserve the $$$$ we throw at them
ordinary products formulated with ordinary ingredients that are deemed “higher end” and raved about in Sephora.

[misc] [acne]? Raised bumps appeared all over my body a year ago and they haven't gone away. I have seb derm and I'm even getting it these on my face & neck where I'm super careful about ingredients so I can't figure out the cause!

Recently, I've been having luck with Sebamed clear face gel mixed with Biossance squalane oil after many months of trying a bunch of different things that all broke me out.
I can relate.
