Effective May 12, 2026
By using nextbest (the “Service”) you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these Terms; continued use after an update means you accept the revised version. Material changes will be announced on this page with a new Effective date.
nextbest is for general informational and educational purposes only. It is not medical advice and is not a substitute for professional dermatological care. Product summaries, rankings, and community quotes reflect what Reddit users have said, not what a clinician would recommend for you. Always consult a licensed dermatologist before starting a new product or routine, especially if you are pregnant, nursing, on prescription medication, or have a skin condition (acne, rosacea, eczema, etc.). We make no warranty that any product will be safe or effective for you, and we are not liable for outcomes from using products mentioned on the Service.
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service and at least 16 to create an account. You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized use. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
You agree not to: (a) scrape the Service at a rate that disrupts it; (b) attempt to access another user's account; (c) submit content that is unlawful, defamatory, infringing, or harassing; (d) use the Service to send spam or unsolicited marketing; or (e) reverse-engineer or circumvent security controls. We may remove content or restrict access at our discretion.
When you save favorites, leave feedback, or otherwise submit content to the Service, you grant nextbest a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the Service. You retain ownership of your content. You represent that you have the right to submit it and that it does not violate anyone else's rights.
Product summaries are derived from publicly available Reddit discussions. Quotes and attributions remain the property of their authors and subreddits. nextbest is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by Reddit, Inc. or any subreddit, brand, or retailer mentioned on the Service.
nextbest participates in the Amazon Associates program and may earn a commission from qualifying purchases made through outbound product links. Rankings and recommendations are not influenced by affiliate partnerships. See our Affiliate Disclosure for full details.
Our handling of your personal information is described in the Privacy Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any information on it is accurate or complete.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, nextbest will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your use of the Service or any product purchased through it. Our total aggregate liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed one hundred U.S. dollars (US$100).
You agree to indemnify and hold nextbest harmless from claims, damages, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of your use of the Service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles. Disputes arising under these Terms will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in San Francisco County, California, and you consent to personal jurisdiction there. Nothing in this section limits any non-waivable consumer rights available to you under your local law.
You may stop using the Service at any time and delete your account from your account settings. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or if continued operation becomes commercially impracticable. Sections 2 (Medical Disclaimer), 5 (Your Content), and 9–11 survive termination.
