1.5 years after cutting out niacinamide

I went and bought a simple cleanser and moisturiser with no niacinamide was the first day in years I didn’t wake up with a new pimple
Every time I see it pushed in skincare routines, it reminds me that everyone’s skin is so different and has different needs.

Tbh I find better luck with more light weight centella k beauty barrier moisturisers, or my favourite barrier repair serum which is also kind of k beauty too.
Never had any break outs from them.
I can recommend some if you like.

Go for gentle cleansers, simple moisturizer, spf 50 during the day.
I’ve been been super successful with just a gentle face wash in the morning, panoxyl at night, and vanicream for moisturizer both times
I also change my pillowcase every night, maybe switching to sensitive detergent may help.

I have been using Paula’s Choice azelaic acid booster and a simple moisturizer
keeping my routine extremely gentle

Why azelaic is so hard to tolerate?

Either way, my routine is so minimal, I use simple micelar wash for cleaning, simple cream for moisturize, AZ and ivermectine at nights, and of course sunscreen daily.
