Once every two weeks, I do a 15% salicylic acid peel.
The first picture looks so painful.

BHAs like salicylic acid and capryloyl salicylic acid (sometimes called LHA) can work as well
I also rotate a 2% salicylic acid cleanser (mostly for my nose and forehead), so lots of gentle exfoliation.
I’ve had succes with an AHA toner (i use glycolic), but a BHA one such as salicylic is also great for these as it really gets in there to get rid of the build up oil.

-The ordinary SA serum
I feel like the SA serum helped. You do have to be careful with how you use it though because theres a chance it’ll irritate your skin more.
If its a pustule with a head, I use a topical benzoyl peroxide spot treatment after moisturiser.

If you use salicylic acid (in moderation) and retinoids they'll extract a lot easier and you'll get less of them in general.
You should definitely be using a comedone extractor to minimize trauma though.

[acne] follow up to what cleared my forehead bumps

So far I have been using AA at night and SA during the day.
I have the same bumps and have been so happy with BP! I tried everything else people suggest for texture (azelaic acid, other acids, niacinamide), but this is the ticket to smoothness for me.
