What the community says

Pros

  • Foaming texture that effectively removes oil and makeup without harsh stripping
  • Contains ceramides and niacinamide for barrier support and calming effects
  • Widely used as a first or second cleanse in oily/acne-prone routines

Cons

  • Can cause dryness, flaking, and irritation especially if skin barrier is compromised
  • Reported to cause or worsen acne and closed comedones for some users
  • Not recommended for very dry, eczema-prone, or rosacea-flaring skin as it may exacerbate sensitivity

Commonly Used With

Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1%

I quit drinking alcohol 543 days ago, really upped my h2o intake and started tretinoin in July of 2020. At age 40 I have the best skin of my life!

I have oily combination. I recommend either the foaming or hydrating. I’ve noticed the foaming dries me out sometimes but I add the Bija Cica Mist to put my skin back to hydration mode.

My Routine now: CeraVe foaming cleanser ,
During the time in the pictures, I used ... the rest in a CeraVe foaming cleanser.
I was also using the ordinary Niacinamide 10% + Zinc 1% Serum which helped my skin clear out
