What the community says

Pros

  • Ceramide and hyaluronic acid-rich formula that supports barrier repair without stripping skin.
  • Favored for its creamy, non-foaming texture that suits dry and sensitive skin types.
  • Commonly used in minimalist routines alongside moisturizers and treatments for gentle cleansing.

Cons

  • Does not fully remove makeup or sunscreen, often requiring double cleansing or supplementary oil-based cleansers.
  • Some users experience burning, stinging, or worsening of acne and redness, especially those with compromised skin barriers or rosacea.
  • Frequently reported to leave a residue or film and can occasionally clog pores, leading to breakouts or milia.

Cerave Hydrating facial cleanser
switching to Cerave hydrating wash from Cetaphil made my skin less irritated & less prone to breakouts.
Personally, I felt the hydrating cleanser was more hydrating. It helped ease irritation brought about by the tazorac.

So my loves, I decided to take some pictures because the weather was beautiful and... I’m obsessed with my skin!! I’m only wearing lipgloss, concealer under my eyes and filled my eyebrows a bit. The glow u see is literally tretinoin and my skincare❣️

I used to use CeraVe Hydrating cleanser for years and I don't think it did anything for me.
Rinsing in the AM, and Dove in the PM works for me.
I was tired of guessing what skincare to use, so I am really happy that seeing a doctor actually helped get me in the right direction.
